Fighting For The Independent Battery Specialist

In 1836 a band of brave Americans held out against overwhelming odds in a fight called The Battle of the Alamo. While they eventually succumbed they gave a great accounting of themselves. These men were led by American Folk Heroes Sam Houston, Davey Crockett and Jim Bowie. The battle cry for America became, “Remember The Alamo!”

Now 172 years later another band of not so brave leaders, along with their brave allies the Battery Specialists, face another stand against overwhelming odds. The difference this time is these brave battery specialists will never give up and will fight to win forever. Today’s brand of brave specialists are led by Sam Fox Houston, Davey Tom Crockett and Jim Art Bowie. While not American Folk Heroes like their predecessors, they are American Folks. Activities
The 2009 Battery Alliance Open golf tournament is planned for Friday afternoon (course TBA). Not a golfer? Then plan to accompany us on one of the tours that are now in the planning stages. A visit to San Antonio is not complete without a tour of the historic Alamo. You may want to take a leisurely river taxi ride or stroll along the Riverwalk with its unique architecture, restaurants and boutique shops. And of course you can’t forget the cocktail receptions, breakfasts, lunches, dinner parties and entertainment. Come prepared to take advantage of those great show specials that will have you shouting, “Remember The Alliance!”
